The US Dollar index is marginally weaker this morning as currency markets await the update from the US Federal Reserve tomorrow. Ahead of that report Brexit remains a hot button item as the UK Parliament supported Johnson's plan to break the Withdrawal Agreement with the EU, it still has two more readings in Parliament but it's passage will make a no-deal Brexit more likely.
Stocks are pointing higher once again as there was positive news on the vaccine front out of China where they said every "ordinary Chinese" will have a vaccine shot by November. Most trials in the US and UK are also showing early promise that there will be a vaccine before the end of the year.
The Canadian Dollar continues to range trade and opens the day right in the middle of the recent range at 1.3150 (0.7605) and most likely won't have a big move until we hear from the Fed tomorrow.
With just some secondary data on tap for today we don't look for much US movement and markets will continue to get ready for the Federal Reserve announcement tomorrow.
